Flight supplements from Manchester have been cut to encourage skiers to take a spring ski week in Austria. Stay at Chalet Christophorus in the high-altitude resort of Obergurgl for £479pp (598€) – it was £838pp (1,046€) – travelling out on April 10. This is the only slope-side catered chalet in the resort. Verbier Impulse Music and Ski Festival
Verbier is launching a new music and sports oriented event, the Verbier Impulse – Music & Ski Festival. For over 15 years, the resort has hosted a sporting event in April that attracts some of the best skiers and snowboarders in the world – the Verbier High Five by Carlsberg. Now the skiing will be complemented by music during the first two weekends of April, with live concerts taking place on the mountain.
