A few holidays still remain for half term and Valentine’s Day, so grab one as quick as you can. Otherwise March is always a lovely time for a ski holiday – with the chance of warmer weather and, hopefully, some lunches sitting on the terrace of a mountain restaurant or two.

Val d’Isere from 625pp with YSE
Three-bedroomed Chalet Bozzetto in Val d’Isere is now available for £650pp half board (was £930pp) on the week starting February 8. Valentine’s evening in Val d’Isere for £38
This year, Val d’Isere is hosting a romantic evening in the Olympique gondola, with canapés and champagne for every couple. Each cabin will be transformed into a private romantic den for couples, with views of the resort by night. Tickets cost 50€ (£38) per couple and are available until February 7 by clicking here. After that date you may be able to purchase them from the local tourist office.
