The Newest Ski Deals – Some Including Free or Half-Price Lift Passes

With just a few weeks to go until the ski season, now is an excellent time to book an early-season ski holiday.

With just a few weeks to go until the start of the ski season, now is an excellent time to book your ski holiday. Early snowfall has arrived in the French Alps, making an early season ski deal a good choice. This week’s deals include the pre-Christmas and Christmas weeks. As well as looking through the deals below, it’s also worth seeing what the ski specialist travel agencies have on offer, such as SNO, Snowfinders and Ski in Luxury. Most of the major tour operators have ski holiday deals available throughout the winter, too.

Don’t forget to reserve your airport parking at least 24 hours before you go – or even further in advance during peak holiday periods. If you’re flying from Gatwick, Cophall Parking has some offers just for Welove2ski followers.

St Anton Christmas for £837pp with SNO
Spend Christmas week skiing the vast Arlberg region and staying in St Anton’s Chalet Monte Vera, a modern, 7=seven-bedroom chalet with a wellness area. A seven-night package has been reduced from £1,552pp to £837pp departing on December 21. That includes Gatwick flights, airport transfers and chalet catering. Bookings: SNO.

Tignes from £734pp and buy-one-get-one-half-price lifts passes with Ski Total
Explore the 300km Espace Killy ski area with a Buy One Get One Half Price on six-day adult lift passes. Stay in traditional Chalet Arolles in Tignes le Lac. It sleeps up to 15 and is now £734pp on the week of December 15 (it was £834pp), chalet board including flights and transfers. Bookings: Ski Total.

Val Thorens Christmas for £959pp with Ski Beat
New for the ski season from is Chalet Pika, in Europe’s highest resort, Val Thorens. After a day on the slopes, return to the chalet for a sauna or swim, followed by chalet half board cuisine. Departing on December 21, there’s a saving of £100pp – the holiday was £1,059pp and is now £959pp, for seven nights including return Gatwick flights (Manchester + £20pp) and transfers. Meribel Christmas chalet for €3,500 with Fish and Pips
Chalet Arbe in the heart of Meribel Village is available for the Christmas week starting December 21. It sleeps six people, plus an additional one in the snug/TV room. The chalet is self-catered but can be serviced for an additional €250 per week. The cost of the chalet is €3,500 for the week, not including travel. Bookings: FishandPips.

St Martin de Belleville free six-day lift passes with Peak Retreats
Those booking to stay in St Martin de Belleville this winter can receive free ski passes (depending on the size of apartment) in the luxury Les Chalets Caseblanche apartments. This is a recently built south-facing complex of beautifully designed apartments and chalets, situated just 50m from the gondola and 300m from the resort centre. There are two and six complimentary six-day area lift passes when booking anything from a six-person three-bedroom apartment up to a 16-person seven-bedroom private chalet. You can save 15% on apartments at the popular Residence Edenarc in Arc 1800. Located on the piste above the village centre, the property gives direct access to both the skiing and also activities in the Mille 8 area. There’s an onsite restaurant and ski shop, and access to a swimming-pool and spa facilities. Book a self-drive package including a one-bedroom two- to four-person apartment and Eurotunnel Flexiplus crossing for £768 in total, or £192pp based on four sharing (full price £859). Stylish Haus Hochkar in the traditional resort of St Anton offers the ultimate in luxury and sophistication. Sleeping up to 11 people in five spacious bedrooms and located just steps from the slopes. Montgenevre spring skiing from £257pp with Ski Collection
As well as being one of the world’s oldest ski resorts, Montgenevre is amongst the highest at 1850m with slopes up to nearly 2700m. The resort in the Milky Way ski area is a popular destination due to its cross-border skiing in Italy. Stay in the four-star Le Napoleon, a recently-built residence in the centre of the village. Facilities include access to the leisure centre with indoor pool, the Ô des Cîmes Spa, and lounge area. There’s 10% off the weeks commencing March 14, 21 and 28; April 4 and 11 when booked by December 15. Résidence Alpina Lodge in Val d’Isere has a selection of apartments in the town centre, with the main ski lifts 500m away. A seven-night stay, departing December 7, is priced from £200pp (saving 37%) in a one-bedroom studio apartment that sleeps up to two people. Travel is not included. Bookings: Ski France.
