The four-stars are the Bosconi Suite Hotel, Sport Hotel Alpina and the Emet. Everything is wooden in the Boscone – which means ‘wood’ and is, as you’d expect, located in the woods. There’s a wood-clad exterior, wooden balconies, wooden floors, ceilings and furniture. Some of the suites have kitchenettes (wooden, of course), and there’s an in-house miniclub. Four-star Hotel Emet has 40 bedrooms and is in a central position. Sport Hotel Alpina is adjascent to the Andossi (and run by the same family) and houses a renowned restaurant, Il Cantinone.

The family-run Hotel Andossi is a friendly place to stay and in a good position close to the lifts. It has a swimming-pool and spa. It receives some good reviews on Tripadvisor including: “An oasis of calm and tranquility. The room was spacious, quiet and clean; the food and service impeccable.”

Simpler is Albergo Vittoria, which is a family-run hotel dating back to the early 17th century when it was a shelter for wayfarers crossing the Alps.
