The No. 1 Reason to Go to Val d’Isere Next Week

The best November skiing conditions in 19 years? Well, that’s what we reckon – and I’ve been lucky enough to be there for all of them. I really can’t remember such superb snow in Val d’Isere at this time of year at resort level – let alone up top.

Over in Tignes you can already ski the Double M from the top of the Grande Motte glacier all the way down to the funicular station at Val Claret.

According to our Snow Report the skies are clearing and we’re in for some bluebird days over the coming fortnight. We don’t like to count our chickens, but it likely to remain cold and it’s beginning to look as if the current wonderful cover is here to stay for the winter.
