Today should have been the last day of YSE’s 20-week season. The skiing would have been excellent on Val d’Isere‘s predominantly north-facing slopes, where the snow is still deep. On the un-skied side of the valley, however, it is melting fast, and as it recedes the first flowers to grow are the crocuses.
