Eight-bedroomed Les Servages d’Armelle is one of those gorgeous little hotels you wished you could find in every resort. It is decorated throughout with leather and cowskin upholstery, white linen bedding, walls clad either in old wood or slabs of granite, log fires, stripped floorboards and rough wooden beams. Oh yes, and it houses a Michelin-starred restaurant too.
Chalet-hotel les Airelles is a warm and traditional chalet-style hotel with 12 rooms -a few minutes’ walk from the village centre. The Logis de France hotel, La Croix de Savoie, is set at the top of the village, with magnificent views. Its restaurant serves local cuisine in keeping with the seasons. Meanwhile, the Milkhotel used to be the Hotel Bois de la Char, but has had an eye-catching makeover – complete with rough-wood panelling and arty tree-trunk coffee tables – and is ski-in, ski-out.
Chalet Deux Freres is the closest catered chalet to both the lifts and the piste, and recently renovated. There are wonderful panoramic views from the windows and the chalet has a TV room with wide-screen TV and Nintendo Wii.
