Andalo is for families. Its culture is overwhelmingly Italian, too, so don’t come here expecting to dance on the tables at 5pm. If it’s apres-ski you’re after, check out our guide to the best apres-ski bars in the world.

However, if nightlife isn’t your priority you might enjoy some of the other activities on offer here. The great big indoor pool complex, the AcquaIn centre, is perfect for those days when you need some time off from the slopes. You can also hike in Adamello Brenta Nature Park, go horse-riding, frozen waterfall climbing, snowshoeing, or reach some of the mountain huts by snowcat or horse-drawn sleigh. Tours of the local wine cellars are also available, and the sports centre houses an ice-skating rink and a swimming-pool.
