Grandvalira Pas de la Casa is a purpose-built ski resort on the French border, boasting Andorra’s biggest and most popular ski area. Beginners will benefit from the large nursery slopes that are set right in the resort centre. Pas de la Casa ski school (+376 871 920) is run by Grandvalira, who run all the schools in the area, and they employ a large number of English-speaking instructors. Group lessons are for three hours per day over five days. Grau-Roig ski school (+376 872 920) also has considerable experience in teaching foreigners.
