13 Excellent Ski Deals in The Alps

If you haven’t opted to ski at half term, maybe you're considering a week of spring skiing instead?

Now that the peak holiday week is here, if you haven’t opted to ski at this time of year maybe you’re considering a week of spring skiing? As well as taking a look at the deals below, it’s also worth having a look at what the ski specialist travel agencies have on offer, such as SNO, Snowfinders and Ski in Luxury. Most of the major tour operators have ski holiday deals available throughout the winter, too.

Make sure you stay safe: take local advice, book a qualified guide, and have all the necessary equipment with you before even considering leaving the marked piste.

Don’t forget to reserve your airport parking at least 24 hours before you go – this is especially important during peak holiday periods such as February and Easter. If you’re flying from Gatwick, Cophall Parking has some offers just for Welove2ski viewers.

 

Courchevel for £799pp with Le Ski
On the week commencing March 3 you can stay in a chalet in Courchevel for £799pp (it was £1,398pp so a saving of £599pp). Chalet Eterlou is a smart and spacious chalet which still has four beds available, as well as flights from Gatwick and Manchester. Bookings: Le Ski.

Val d’Isere by ski train from £1,599pp with SNO
Save £789pp on a last-minute luxury ski train holiday to Val d’Isere. The five-star Hotel Christiania is in the town centre and has an indoor pool, spa and gym. Les Arcs for £399pp with Skiworld
Chalet Arnaud in Les Arcs, departing February 23 is now available for £399pp, saving £507pp. Price includes return flights, transfers and chalet board. Chalet Arnaud is one of the last remaining authentic mountain huts in the valley, situated on a secluded spot with skiing accessed via a short walk and the town centre accessible by a five-minute bus ride. The exterior is antique and charming, whilst inside there’s a fireplace and an open-plan living/dining room. Bookings: Skiworld.

Vaujany offers with Ski Peak
For the remainder of the season there’s 20% off at selected chalets in the charming village of Vaujany, which shares the giant Alpe d’Huez ski area. For example, the offer on March 16 is for Chalet Saskia (sleeps 10-13 people), on March 23 there’s the same deal in chalets Saskia, Rostaing (sleeps 12) and Lucette (sleeps 8); on March 30 and April 13 it’s in Rostaing and Lucette. For example, Chalet Rostaing was €814pp for a week chalet half board on April 13 and is discounted by 20%. Vaujany currently has excellent skiing conditions. Bookings: Ski Peak.

Gressoney for £649pp with Ski Total

Belle Plagne is a great base for skiing the vast Paradiski ski area, and Le Centaure is situated at the foot of the slopes at the top of the village. The property is perfect for families as it’s directly opposite the children’s Ski Garden and ski school meeting point. The spacious and comfortable apartments have facilities that include access to an indoor pool, limited free access to the Ô Pure Spa, and covered parking (payable).
