No deals today, guys – the season’s still got a final kick in it but most tour operators have closed up their chalets and are thinking Sun and Sea. But don’t go away! The end of one season is just the start of another…

We’ll be skiing (and cycling) on through the summer months in the Alps and during the coming winter in the Southern Hemisphere.

Soon we’ll be posting the pick of ski holidays for winter 2015-16. Meanwhile, take a look at these fun ski videos.

Have Car, Will Drive

Peugeot says there’s a wolf hidden in its James Bond style advert to promote the latest model of the go-anywhere 208 GTi 30th. The background picture of the majestic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise suggests it was shot in the back woods of BC. We can’t find the wolf. Can you?

Mini Backflip

Another amazing car stunt…This time it’s skier and rally driver, Guerlain Chicherit, who performs a 360 degree backflip in a Mini Countryman John Cooper Works SUV. Mini claims it is the first time a backflip like this has been pulled off. It took place in Tignes.

Don’t Try This At Home

Here’s the ultimate in paragliding. Even nature gives a mighty round of applause in the form of a spectacular powder avalanche off the opposite face.

Spectacular Extreme Sport

British Olympian, Billy Morgan, performs the first-ever backside 1800 quadruple cork – which was said to be impossible. He finally landed it in Livigno, spinning five times while on a downward-facing axis. The trick was one full flip and one-and-a-half rotations – more than had ever been landed before.

Surfer Dog

Brandy the Pug shows off her awesome boarding skills in the Southern California snow. That’s one fast dog!

Puppy Patrol

Meet Jake, Vail’s newest patrol dog. No stunts here…we just couldn’t resist this gorgeous little puppy!
