That’s right, Snowfiends: TIGNES – one half of the magnificent Espace Killy ski area, which encompasses a mind-boggling 10,000 hectares of terrain, as well as 300km of scintillating pistes. Whether you’re an easy-skiing intermediate, or a powder-crazed off-piste addict, this is one of the greats – and thanks to Grande Motte glacier, it’s remarkably snowsure too. Up at 3,456m, you’ll find the snow is soft, cold and grippy in all but the steamiest of spring thaws.
Accommodation will be in Inghams’ Chalet Hotel Le Curling. New to the Inghams programme this winter, the Chalet Hotel Curling is set in Val Claret, just two minutes’ walk from the Tufs chairlit, which will whisk you up to Toviere, and the heart of the Espace Killy. It’s also handy for the funicular up to the Grande Motte glacier.
