Where to Party in Revelstoke

Revelstoke is a still a local’s town at night. At the moment, many of the skiers who visit are here to heli-ski – which means they’re richer, and older, than average, and tend to stick to their hotel bars after dinner. If you do want to venture out, try the River City Pub in the Regent Inn or the local’s favourite, Grizzly’s Sports Bar (two pool tables and TV sports), on 314 W 1st Street.

The mountain village base has Wino: The Wine Bar, featuring wines from across BC coupled with rustic bread and other apres-ski snacks. At the Revelstoke Outdoors Center there’s a mini climbing wall for kids, and other activities in the area include tubing (2-8pm daily) at Turtle Creek Tube Park at the gondola base, paragliding and dog-sledding.
