Tag - Snow Report

We've had a little bit of everything over the last few days - including some lovely weather for lunch...

Serre Chevalier, south of Grenoble, started the day with 40cm of fresh snow.

It looks as though the thaw will be short-lived.

The coldest spell of the winter will shortly settle over the region. But before that, we've got another Retour d'Est to contend with.

Brilliant sunshine, low-temperatures and hard-packed pistes are all on the menu over the next few days. Next week may turn frigid.

As predicted, it's been raining above village level in many northern resorts today. But the thaw should be short-lived.

It's looking good and wintry for the first part of February half term.

The wintry spell will last for several days - maybe a whole week.

Some snow is forecast for tomorrow, but the skies will quickly clear again.

It's been a white-knuckle day in some resorts - but at least skies will clear tomorrow.
