The Tonale-Presena Ski School has a good reputation and offers ski, snowboard, freestyle, snowshoeing, race-training and off-piste courses. The other choice is Ponte-Tonale which was founded in the 1960s and today offers skiing, snowboarding and freeride tuition.

As this is Italy, families are made very welcome wherever they go. The Flinky Club in Hotel Miramonti cares for non-resident children from newborn to three years, and daycare for older children if they are hotel guests. Grand Hotel Paradiso, at the foot of the slopes, has a mini club for small guests ages four to 12 years. Both hotels have indoor swimming-pools.

Fantaski is a play park on the snow for children of all ages, open daily from 9am to 5pm. It is used by those attending both the Tonale-Presena and Ponte-Tonale ski schools.
