Hut Capanna Presena (+39 0463 758299), at the top of the cable-car, is recommended, as are Rifugio Valbiolo (+39 0364 900016), Rifugio Negritella (+39 0364 900661) and Rifugio Bleis (+39 335 708 4266). La Mirandola is in old hospice up the mountain that dates back to the 12th century. It has been converted into a boutique hotel and has a good restaurant open for lunch and dinner. Transport is provided by snowmobile until 2am.

“The prices in bars and restaurants are around half of what you would expect to pay in say Les Arcs or Tignes,” said a reporter. In the village, try Ristorante Rododendro (+39 0364 900259) and Serodine (+39 0364 903724). Reporters praised Antares (+39 0364 903789) and Il Focalare (+39 0364 903790). La Torretta (+39 0364 903978) is a pizzeria. Others eateries include the Dahu (+39 0364 903864) and Ristorante Faita (+39 0364 91522).

Hotels such as Grand Hotel Paradiso and Grand Hotel Miramonti have good dining rooms offering local Trentino and typically Italian cuisine. The latter also houses a separate pizzeria serving ice creams and home-made pastries. Family-run Hotel Edelweiss is also known for its cuisine.
