The resort is friendly and unpretentious with a range of bars and nightclubs, but they only really tend to liven up at weekends. When the lifts close, head for the Bar Heaven, the Ombrello bar or the Magic Pub (+39 335 6205584). Nico’s Bar is a another popular resort rendezous, with an in-house pizzeria and amusement arcade. El Bait is decorated in Alpine style and is a “great little bar with a good atmosphere” according to reporters. La Botte offers a good selection of wines. Later on, Disco Bar Miramonti, Snow White Disco Pub (+39 0364 904800) in Hotel Paradiso, Heaven Disco Pub (+39 0364 91348), and Antares Disco Pub (+39 0364 903899) are the popular nightspots.
Other activities in Passo Tonale include a natural ice-skating rink, an indoor climbing wall, snowmobiling, and tobogganing with a dedicated lift. Alternatively, take the bus to the nearby old town of Ponte di Legno, where you can shop, swim at the Butterfly indoor pool (+39 0364 91618) where entry is free with a lift pass, or go dog-sledding.
