Where to Party in Samoens

Samoens has around a dozen bars in all, a few of which can be quite lively. “There’s enough atmosphere for 30-60 year olds,” says one reporter. Given this a resort popular with older skiers and families, that means most people will be happy here. Teenagers and party animals will probably throw themselves off the tower of the venerable church after a couple of days. Covey’s – an Irish Pub – is the best bar for evenings: “Nightlife good – a real Irish bar,” said a reporter. It plays live music, is a WiFi hotspot, and is open from 5pm until late.

The traditional Savoie Bar (+33 450 34 94 43) is on the main square and is the place to go for a quiet drink. La Clarine (+33 450 34 40 11) is a more sophisticated, and the New Clarine Bar (+33 450 34 17 82) is also quite chic. The only night club here is called Le King Club (+33 450 34 48 11).
