The New Year brings oodles of snow all over the Alps and, after last weekend’s big storm, the slopes are now in good condition – especially in Austria. Don’t wait…now is the time to book yourself one of the last-minute low season January ski deals.

Les Arcs apartment from £544 with Lagrange Holidays
A sale will run January 6-14, with discounts of up to 45% on selected ski apartments in 16 ski resorts in the French Alps and Pyrenees for selected January, March and April departure dates. This big ski sale includes a wide variety of resorts, from big-name domains to small villages, as well as over the Easter departure dates March 28 to April 4 and April 4-11 – good for those restricted by term dates. Save £342pp in the Tirolean resort of Seefeld, which is situated 30 minutes from Innsbruck and is great for first-time skiers and cross-country enthusiasts. Sainte Foy for £594pp with Premiere Neige

Stay for a week at Chalet Schatzi in La Rosiere for £224pp (was £468pp). The chalet is located at the foot of the slopes and the price is based on a family of four, (two adults and two children under 12 years) at £996 (was £1,872). There is a wide choice of January and February ski deals, up to and including half term.
