Winter is almost here and less than two months to the start of the European ski season. Which means that now is the time to seriously begin researching where you want to go for your ski holiday, if you haven’t done so already. Several of the Alpine glaciers have now opened for the autumn, as you will see from our snow report, which certainly helps to whet the appetite for what’s to come this winter.
Apart from the offers we’ve listed below, most of them for the Christmas week, it’s also worth checking for ski deals on the websites of the major operators and having a look at what the ski specialist travel agencies have on offer at the moment.
Due to readers’ requests, we now also have our ski holiday prices in euros (with the exchange rate correct at the time of writing), although you should contact tour operators direct for a quote that doesn’t include travel from the UK.

Les Gets from £799pp with Ski Famille

For Christmas week (departing December 20) at the Hotel Rond Point and Chalet Sylvana in Megeve prices have now dropped to £590pp (799€), and at superior Chalet Les Clochettes prices have dropped to £900 (1219€)! For half term (February 14) there are discounts £50 (68€) off usual prices at Chalet Hotel Rond Point and Chalet Sylvana – prices now start at £670pp (907€) per week.
