It’s not for party animals – though the weekends are livelier. You are, after all, in middle of nowhere. Nevertheless, the pubby Bottom’s does a nice pint at the end of the skiing day, while Mackdaddy’s Nightclub in the Delta Sun Peak Resort is busy on a Friday and Saturday night when the locals pile in from Kamloops.
Lots of non-ski options
There is something for everyone when it comes to winter activities at Sun Peaks – from ice skating in the Sports & Aquatic Centre and tubing in the tube park, to dogsledding, snowshoeing, sleigh rides and snowmobile tours. The Sports & Aquatic Centre features a year-round heated outdoor pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, and the Mascon Hangout (where kids can play on the X-Box or Wii; watch the latest ski and snowboard movies; or just hang out). A bungee trampoline is located slope side by the Village Day Lodge.
