Accommodation here is compact, and friendly, with a good mix of hotel accommodation and self-catering condos. Delta Sun Peaks Resort is one of Canada’s best upmarket ski hotels and has been modelled on a Tirolean village. There’s a health club featuring outdoor hot tubs, a heated outdoor swimming-pool, massage rooms, sauna, and a well-equipped gym. New are the Delta Residences, containing attractively decorated one- and two-bedroom luxury condominiums and sharing the hotel’s facilities.
Nancy Greene’s Cahilty Lodge offers mid-range, ski-in, ski-out accommodation, with highly-rated service and a wide choice of rooms. You can also sign up to ski with Olympic champion, Nancy Greene. The Hearthstone Lodge is a ski-in ski-out boutique style ski lodge located at the base of Mt Tod, a few minutes from the Sunburst Express chair-lift. It has a variety of room styles – ranging from studios and lofts, to multi-room, and adjoining units.
Sun Peaks also has a range of chalets to rent, varying from those sleeping two people up to a party of 24. They are all self-catering with good kitchens, some ski-in ski-out, others a short walk from the centre. Some of them come some with hot tubs, balconies and fireplaces, and some come with their kitchens fully stocked. For example, the slopeside Bear Bottom Lodge has four bedroom and three bathrooms, a living room and dining area, a deck with barbecue, kitchen with granite worktops and stainless steel appliances, a games room with pool table, heated ski preparation area and a hot tub.
