If you take a look at our weekly snow report you’ll see that skiing restarts in Tignes on October 1 and in Les Deux Alpes there’ll be skiing on the glacier from October 22 to November 1. Skiing is currently on offer at Hintertux and at least three other Austrian glaciers. Winter is certainly approaching fast.
You will be aware by now that the traditional Saturday changeover day falls on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve which are not favourite days to travel to the resort or home again. Because of this, some tour operators are offering Monday, Tuesday and Friday changeover days for the Christmas week – or nine-day holidays for the price of seven over New Year. No-one is finding it easy to sell New Year, in particular…so there are some good bargains around.
And, if you’re flying from Gatwick, don’t forget to reserve your airport parking at least 24 hours before you go. Cophall Parking has some offers especially for Welove2ski readers. You should also contact tour operators direct if you want a quote that doesn’t include travel.

Hi Felice trawling through your compilation of ski deals was extremely enlightening. My wife and I hope to travel from Ireland, preferably Belfast for Xmas and New year. Hopefully we will find a good deal soon.
I’m pleased the deals are helpful. I put a lot of new deals up online yesterday, so I hope that you’ll be able to find something.
