Big White has a small but testing intermediate area with magical charm. In fact, it’s not that small: there are 2750 acres of terrain, a modern and efficient lift sytem and an excellent ski school. On top of this you can easily ski the other Okanagan resorts of Silver Star and Sun Peaks for the day.

Beginners congregate around the Humming Bird quad below the village and in the Happy Valley beginner area, while others head directly for the Ridge Rocket Express and Snow Ghost Express six-pack, which give smooth access to the main runs. Superb off-piste can be found between the snow ghosts on Gem Lake, Falcon, Powder or Alpine T-bars, or in the expanses served by the Cliff Chair. There are steep descents in The Cliff area, as well as some testing bump runs.

Big White has a long history of snowboarding, with the first riders congregating here back in 1983. The terrain park has an Olympic-sized super-pipe, a snowcross course and a series of jumps and rails.
