Ten days to go until Christmas and it’s a great start to the season again, with good snow cover almost everywhere. Amazingly, there’s still some availability over the holiday period.

Last-minute Christmas and New Year Holidays

St Anton from £899pp with Inghams

Stay in little Reberty, the charming purpose-built village above Les Menuires on the week starting January 5 and you’ll save 30% and receive a 2-4-1 lift pass. Chalets Sapin de Reberty, Neve and Le Chamois now costs 683€ pp; the original price was 975€. Chalet Flocon des Neiges is now 549€ pp; the original price was 885€. A lot of January packages have been discounted by hundreds of pounds including this one to Lake Tahoe: departing on the January 12, a seven-night stay in the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel is down from £1,980pp to £1,345pp. This is a saving of £635pp. Heathrow flights, transfers and breakfasts are included and the price is based on four sharing a suite. Arc 2000 from £199pp with Ski Collection
The four-star La Cîme des Arcs is located right on the Arc 2000 slopes. Facilities include access to the private indoor pool, sauna, steam room and fitness area. There’s 15% off weeks commencing March 9, 16 and 23; April 6, 13 and 20 – when booked by January 15.
