Beat the January blues and book a ski trip to one of these fabulous resorts. As well as looking through the deals below, it’s also worth seeing what the ski specialist travel agencies have on offer, such as SNO, Snowfinders and Ski in Luxury. Most of the major tour operators have ski holiday deals available throughout the winter, too.

St Martin de Belleville from £268pp with Peak Retreats
St Martin de Belleville is a charming traditional French village offering easy access to the vast 3 Vallées. Here the four-star ski-in ski-out residence Les Chalets du Gypse is located right on the slopes with a wonderful view of the village. Facilities including indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. There’s 20% off the week commencing April 11 when booked by January 1, so seven nights in a two-bedroom apartment is £268pp based on five sharing (was £323pp) including return Eurotunnel crossings with free upgrade to FlexiPlus. St Anton from £2,000pp with VIP SKI
At VIP CLUB Fritz like-minded skiers can socialise in the atmosphere of a larger shared chalet. Whilst enjoying a quiet, elevated location in St Anton, the chalet is still conveniently located, being a six-minute walk down to the main lift, piste and apres. Spanning three floors, it sleeps 22 people. There are eleven spacious bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms and three with balconies. Downstairs on the ground floor there is a wellness area with sauna and steam room, and a chauffeured vehicle service runs to and from the piste daily until 8pm. Residence Alexane in Samoens is the heart of the village and are truly luxurious. You can save 10% on accommodation from March 21 until the end of the season. For example, book a self-drive package for seven nights from April 4, including a two-bedroom six-person apartment and Eurotunnel Flexiplus crossings for £1,400 total (£350pp based on four sharing, full price is £1,526). Ischgl for £1,191pp with Ski Total
Spend a week at the centrally-located Chalet Hotel Abendrot in Ischgl, starting January 18. The price of £1,191pp (was £1,241pp) includes half board accommodation, Gatwick flights and resort transfers. The chalet-hotel sleeps up to 63 people, has a bar and a wellness area. Bookings: Ski Total.

Veganuary ski trip from £499pp with Ski Beat Veganuary ski holidays to France depart throughout January with holidays from £499pp (save up to 30%). Whistler from £1,796pp with SNO
The AAVA hotel in Whistler has been reduced by over £800pp from £1,796pp to £968pp on the week beginning January 15. The seven-night package comes with Heathrow flights and resort transfers included. Five minutes from the foot of Whistler Mountain, the three-star AAVA has a heated outdoor pool and offers complimentary GoPro and snowshoe rentals. Bookings: SNO.

Avoriaz from £599pp with Inghams
There’s a seven-night ski holiday on a half-board basis at the 3.5-star Hotel Les Cimes du Soleil in Avoriaz from £599pp. Price represents a saving of £225pp and includes return flights from Gatwick to Geneva and airport transfers. Four-star ski-in ski-out Le Hameau du Kashmir is located at the entrance of Val Thorens, just metres from the mid-station lifts. The facilities include a welcoming lounge-bar area, free access to the spa with indoor pool, saunas, treatment rooms, and a restaurant. There’s up to 20% when booked by February 1. Kitzbuhel Hahnenkamm from £996pp
The beautiful town of Kitzbuhel in the Austrian Tirol, is hosting the 80th edition of Hahnenkamm World Cup Races from January 20-26. The events will take place on the Streif run, which is filled with blind drops, jumps, twists and turns. There is an electric atmosphere throughout Kitzbühel, as athletes and spectators descend on the town for a week of excitement.
