With the schools going back this week, a lot of people will be starting to think about their ski holiday for next season. Winter offers are coming in now, so keep an eye on this page if you’re looking to grab a good ski deal. This week’s deals include 2-for-1 equipment hire. But if you can’t wait for the season to start then you can still book a last-minute summer/autumn holiday in the Alps for some hiking and cycling?

 


 

One More for the (Late) Summer

Seefeld September summer trip from £889pp with Inghams Lakes & Mountains
You can now book a seven-night stay on a half board basis at four-star Krumers Post & Spa Hotel in Seefeld from £889pp. The price represents a saving of £80pp and includes return flights from Gatwick to Innsbruck and airport transfers. The package is valid for travel departing on September 15. Bookings: Inghams Lakes & Mountains.

 

Next Winter

Mayrhofen in December for £999pp and 2-for-1 equipment hire with SNO
Save up to 20% off packages departing in December: for example, a seven-night stay in Mayrhofen’s Elisabeth Hotel is reduced from £1,248pp to £999pp on the week beginning December 15. Manchester flights, transfers and half board accommodation are included in the holiday, which comes with a deal for 2-for-1 equipment hire. The five-star hotel is adult-only and has an indoor pool and spa. Bookings: SNO.

Reberty-les-Menuires from 535€ pp with Powder N Shine
Thinking about having some pre-Christmas skiing? You can save 15% on an offer that ends on September 30. This is for a holiday starting on December 8 in Reberty, and applies to catered chalets only. Prices are from 535€ per person half board, which is a saving of 95€. Travel is not included. Bookings: Powder N Shine.

Christmas in Arc 1950 with Erna Low
Arc 1950 is a great setting for a family ski holiday at Christmas, combining a pretty pedestrianised village with ski-in ski-out convenience at high altitude. For early bookings you can save up to 20% on accommodation, but the availability is limited so these may not last for long. A two-bedroom six-person standard self-catered apartment is now £2,307 (save £577) and this can be combined with Flexiplus Eurotunnel crossings for a great value self-drive package, or flights, with transfers or train travel also arranged. Levi in Lapland from £849pp with Inghams
Four-star Levi Hotel Panorama & Apartments is a three-minute gondola ride from Levi village centre, and is a modern family hotel with rooms and apartments. The ski-in ski-out property has a children’s play area, sauna (private sauna in apartments), gym, restaurant, and bar. Half board is included for both rooms and apartments. A three-night Santa Break here is from £849pp based on two adults and two children sharing. Price includes half board, return flights from Bristol and airport transfers (a 20-minute journey!), as well as complimentary thermal suits and boots (from three years old), and guaranteed opportunities to meet Santa. Val d’Isere from £1,179pp with VIP SKI
Stay at a luxurious chalet in Val d’Isere and save £100pp during January saver weeks. For example, The Farmhouse is sleeps 10 people and is located in the heart of town. It has an open-fire and an underground spa-suite complete with a small counter-current pool and a hammam. A seven-night stay, arriving January 6, is priced from £1,179pp (down from £1,279pp, saving £100pp). The price includes chalet-board accommodation, flights from Gatwick and coach transfers. Save up to £285pp with Skiworld
The tour operator has some all-inclusive ski holidays for the 2018/19 season to chalets in snow-sure resorts across Europe. Their Ski-All-In deals allowing you to pay for your entire ski holiday – including lift passes, ski/board, boot hire and ski carriage – which is easier and cheaper than buying all components separately. Bookings: Skiworld.

Flights to Innsbruck from £58pp
Travelling to the Austrian Tirol will now be even easier with British Airways, easyJet and Laudamotion increasing the number of flights to Innsbruck for the ski season. From December 9, BA will run flights Heathrow to Innsbruck every day of the week, bar Wednesday, as well as twice a day on weekends. A return flight Heathrow to Innsbruck with BA costs from £66pp. Additionally, easyJet is introducing a new flight from Manchester to Innsbruck, to be run every Sunday from December 2018 to March 2019. A return flight Manchester to Innsbruck with easyJet costs from £58pp. Laudamotion (owned by Ryanair since March) has also launched two new flights: one is Stansted to Innsbruck every Sunday, and the other Dublin to Innsbruck every Saturday – both new flights will be operating in the ski season. Innsbruck is close to some of Austria’s top resorts, such as St Anton and Mayrhofen.
