It's too early to be sure, but we could see more snow in the high Alps on October 3 or 4.
September's snowy spell will bow out with one final flourish. We're sorry to see it go.
Today's fast-moving band of snow will be followed by further falls on Saturday and Sunday. It's great news for the glacier ski areas.
