The glacier ski season is in full swing in the Alps, but even the highest slopes will be touched by the coming thaw.
Phew. The snow's come right on schedule. Though we'll have to put up with another thaw next week.
The weather charts are being a tease at the moment, but there's hope for the end of the week.
It's too early to be sure, but we could see more snow in the high Alps on October 3 or 4.
