There’s still availability over Christmas and New Year – due to the fact that the public holidays fall on weekends, making the usual Saturday or Sunday transfer days less popular than usual. A lot of tour operators have managed to get around this by offering their transfers on weekdays.
So if you want to give yourself and your family a really memorable Christmas present this year, why not grab one of these last-minute offers? Go high if you can, to make sure of finding decent snow when you get there. See our feature on reliable resorts for Christmas if you’re thinking of heading off during the festive season. Before that, there’s still time for an early December break.
To have a reasonable choice of where to stay, when to go and how to get there, it makes sense to book as soon as you can. It’s also worth checking for offers on the websites of the major tour operators.
If you’re flying from Gatwick, don’t forget to reserve your airport parking at least 24 hours before you go. Cophall Parking has some offers especially for Welove2ski readers.
