If it seems too early to be able think about next ski season, then how about some mountain biking? Or you could go hiking, road cycling, take part in some watersports, golf, tennis, get fit with Nordic walking, go horse-riding or try a new fun activity. Accommodation costs less than during the ski season and lift passes are a fraction of the winter price.

Summer in the Alps

Saalbach for £569pp with SNO

Innsbruck hosts the Crankworx World Tour
From June 21-25 the renowned mountain-biking tournament takes to the mountains of Innsbruck. Here, professional riders from across the world converge at the Mutteralm Park competing in multiple events, from Downhill, Enduro, Slopestyle and Dual Slalom to Pump Track Challenges. Vaujany chalets from £380pp with Ski Peak
Spend a week in one of the cute chalets in Vaujany. The unspoilt resort shares a lift system with much bigger Alpe d’Huez, directly accessible by a giant cable-car.
